Concrete Manhole and Bases
A full range of concrete manhole rings and cover slabs are stocked at our depots.
Concrete manhole rings are kitemarked to British Standard 5911 and are available in the following diameters:
- 900mm
- 1050mm
- 1200mm
- 1350mm
- 1500mm
- 1800mm
- 2100mm
Manhole rings are available in the following depths – 0.5m, 0.75m and 1.0m. Fixed double steps are fitted to all concrete manhole rings except the 900mm diameters.
Concrete cover slabs are available for all sizes generally with a 600mm x 600mm opening. However, other sizes of opening are available. All cover slabs are kitemarked to BS5911.
To compliment the range of concrete manholes and bases, a range of manhole covers and frames are stocked to meet all requirements. They include the following grades for the appropriate requirement:
- 1.5 tonne loading – driveways and pedestrian.
- 12.5 tonne loading – cars and small lorries.
- 40 tonne loading – all highway vehicles.
